KK Buducnost announced that center Nenad Misanovic has signed a one-year deal with the Montenegrin League champion according to the Uleb Cup official site. Misanovic (2.17-C) arrives from Dynamo Moscow, where he averaged 1.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 5 ULEB Cup games last season, helping the team to make it to the semifinals and finish third overall.
Widely regarded as one of the most promising defensive centers in European basketball, Misanovic had started the 2007-08 season with Red Star, averaging 5.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and one block in 10 ULEB Cup games. Misanovic has also played for Hemofarm in his short, promising career.
He helped Hemofarm to win the Adriatic League and reach the ULEB Cup semifinals in 2005. Misanovic also won the 2006 Serbia and Montenegro Cup title with Red Star.
