Aris BC announced via their official website that, montenegran forward/center Blagota Sekulic(2.09-PF/C), will continue his career in Alba Berlin. Sekulic himself said that it was purely a professional decision for him and his family as he had an offer from an economically stable team during the global crisis.
Aris BC said that this restores the initial design of the roster of the team that would feature 10 pro players and 2 youngsters that would earn their position in the team. Alba had problems with their recent signing of Kenny Adeleke that failed his medical tests and so they were left without enough strong players in their frontcourt. They also thanked Blagota Sekulic and Sean Marshall for offering their services to the team and wish them the very best of the rest of their career. Both players depart tomorrow from Thessaloniki. Sekulic averaged 7.5 points and 6.4 rebounds in 19 games in the Greek A1 league playing for Aris BC.
