Skyliners replaced Didin with Herbert

Despite reaching The BEKO BBL Cup Final, The Deutsche Bank Skyliners decided to replace Turk head coach Murat Didin with Gordon Herbert.


'After the exciting cup final, we decided to go separate ways because we didnt have the same visions for the future. We thank Murat Didin for his hard work the last three years', stated Skyliner manager Gunnar Wobke. 'I am very happy that I was able to work in such a professional club like The Deutsche Bank Skyliners. I want to thank the fans and the players and coaching staff for their good work' said Didin.

The new head coach of The Deutsche Bank Skyliners will be Gordon Herbert who recieved a contract until 2011 and who led the club to the German title in 2004 then known as the Opel Skyliners.'I am happy to be coming back to Frankfurt. It is one of the best organizations in Europe. I like the team a lot. It has a lot of potential'; stressed Gordon Herbert.
