DKV has confirmed this morning that they will have Henk Norel in their roster next season. The dutch center (2.12-C) is now 21 years old and for the duration of the last season he has been playing on-loan for Alicante in LEB Gold in order to get gain experience as he wouldn't normally get any playing time in Juventut.
Norel has all the attributes required by a good center. He is strong, he can play with his back to the hoop but he can also shoot from the mid-range, and he is a good rebounder. He has grown physically the last years and the administration of DKV feels that he is ready now for the big league.
He averaged 9.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in 34 games playing for Alicante in the lower league in Spain.
