BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque agreed one-year deal with Cameroonian player Alfred Aboya (206-F/C-85). The 24-year old PF/C is coming to France from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated few months ago.In his senior season Aboya collected 9.9 ppg and 6.3 rpg for 35 games. That is a huge improvement compared with 2.9 ppg and 2.2 rpg in junior year. This season he was named 'Pac-10 Honorable Mention -09' and 'Pac-10 All-Defensive Team -09'. Aboya also took participation at the NCAA DI All-Star Game -09.
During the summer Alfred Aboya played for the National Team of Cameroon on FIBA Africa Championship 2009 in Libya. He appeared 9 times on this event averaging 6.2 ppg and 5.1 rpg. In 2002, as well as in 2007 and 2008 Aboya was a member of Cameroonian NT.
