Valencia close to Pietrus and also wants Winston

Florent Pietrus is close to signing a 2-year contract with Pamesa Valencia. The athletic french forward who is also a member of the national team is free from Estudiantes and he is very close to reaching an agreement with Pamesa Valencia of Fotis Katsikaris.

Pietrus helped in keeping Estudiantes in the ACB this year with coach Perasovic where he averaged 8.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in 34 games. He will be taking the place of Frederick House whose contract won't be renewed by Valencia as he hasn't helped the team as it was expected.

Another team that Valencia is still keeping tabs on is Kennedy Winston of Panathinaikos who did not manage to fill the shoes of Siskauskas and will probably be released as Panathinaikos is on a quest to secure Carlos Delfino to cover the small forward position.
