Spartak announced James White


Spartak St Petersburg announced the signing of James White(2.01-SG/SF) via their official website. White comes to the aid of the ailing Russian team that hasn't managed to score a single victory yet in the first 4 games of the Russian Superleague.


James White has played in Europe before although last season he played in the NBA for the Houston Rockets for 7 games helping them in the play-offs but he actually started the season in the D-League and the Anaheim Arsenal. He also played for Fenerbahce in Turkey during season 2007-2008 and before that he played for San Antonio and the Austin Toros. 

White is known for his athletic skills and has been given the nickname 'Flight'. Last season was quite memorable with the Anaheim Arsenal in California where he averaged  the impressive 25.9 points 5.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

This is the perfect situation for a player who must show that he's not only an athletism-gifted player. Great deal for Spartak.
