Zoran Erceg to play for Panionios

The days have passed and this might be the time of Zoran Erceg(2.09-PF/C) to hit the courts.

According to greekbball.blogspot.com, Zoran Erceg will be signed by Panionios on a loan agreement until the end of the season. The Serbian forward/center had said numerous times that he only wants to play for a Euroleague team but as the days go by it seems like his resolve has softened.

The article says that Panionios decided to go for a less risky option and sign a player with experience from the Greek league already. Furthermore head coach Nenad Markovic seems to be in a tight spot after numerous losses and recently of the loss to Iraklis which got them out of the run for the Greek Cup.

Erceg last season averaged 5 points and 2.2 rebounds in 20 games in the Greek A1 league for Olympiakos. He was also implicated in rumors with Aris.
