Virtus Bologna hired Matteo Boniciolli to replace Renato Pasquali and it was announced via their official website today. They also added Tonino Zorzi, former legend of italian basketball, to the coaching staff.
Matteo Boniccioli has coached Udine, Benetton and Fortitudo Bologna in the past while he conquered the Italian Cup with Air Avellino and led the team to the Euroleague for the first time. Boniccioli also coached Oostende for 2 seasons.
