Olympia Larissa will be releasing Jamel Thomas(1.98-SF) that has not fully adjusted to the playing style that coach Bartzokas wanted him to adopt. Olympia is expecting a lot from their 2 import players, Mike King and Jamel Thomas who was one of their most expensive transfers this summer. For a team with a very tight budget like Olympia, Jamel Thomas didn't seem to perform as expected.
There were rumors previous about a month ago about a possible replacement of Thomas with Matt Walsh(1.98-SG/SF) who is still a free agent. Jamel Thomas averaged 7.6 points and 3.5 rebounds in 6 games with Olympia Larissa.
