The 32-year-old forward started the previous season in the Chicago Bulls. Later he moved to the Sacramento Kings and then finished the season with the Trail Blazers. The Tulsa graduate Michael Ruffin used to play for Chicago, Utah, Philadelphia and Washington in the NBA.
He also spent some time with Caprabo Lleida in the Spanish ACB back in 2002-03. Michael Ruffin is expected to substitute Brian Cusworth (213-C-84, college: Harvard) who got injured recently. Cusowrth is going to miss almost one month.

Ruffin is a different kind of player, not an usual center. He's not tall for the paint, but he's a fighter near the rim because of his strength and jumping
