According to basketcentral.it, Maccabi Tel Aviv is interested in Justin Williams(2.08-C) who signed with Golden State in September. This is supported by israeli media as well although there has been no official announcement that the player was waived from the Golden State website as of yet.
Williams went undrafted by an NBA team and started to play with the NBA Development League's Dakota Wizards, averaging 12.1 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.08 blocks in 12 games. He was signed by the Sacramento Kings to a first 10-day contract on January 5, 2007. He also played one game for Houston. Last season he averaged 1.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in 22 games for Sacramento.
