Paok has announced the agreement with point guard Tony Akins(1.78-PG) who played for KK Split last season. The contract is for one year and will expire at the end of the season. Akins will be wearing the shirt with number 11 on it. This confirms previous rumors about a possible deal with Akins.
Akins has played in numerous teams in Europe, having played short contract for french and polish teams, Roanne, Paris, Sokolow to name a few and has also played in Karsiyaka in Turkey. Last season he played for KK Split in the Adriatic League where he averaged 12.6 points 2.8 rebounds and 6 assists in 25 games in the Adriatic League.
