Cedevita announced Slobodan Subotic as head coach

KK Cedevita announced via their official website, slovenian veteran Slobodan Subotic as their new head coach after head coach Srecko Medvedec left the team. Subotic acted as head coach and general director for KK Split last season but the team's financial situation forced him out.

Subotic is more known as a member of the team of Aris Thessaloniki in the 80's helping them qualify for three Euroleague final fours between 1988 and 1990,  and for his shooting ability behind the arc. He conquered the Korac Cup in 1997 as head coach of Aris in Prussa and has been the coach of plenty other greek teams in the past, Olympiakos and Panathinaikos to name a few.
