The LA Lakers have announced the signing of DJ Mbenga(2.16-C) that was involved in rumors regarding Tau Baskonia among other players. Hence the congolese center will be playing with the Lakers next season so it's one more player off the list of possible candidates.
MBenga comes from Congo but he also has a belgian passport. He played for Golden State and LA last season. He is a dominating presence defending the paint and has uncanny flexibility for a player of his size. Last season he averaged 2.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 26 games with the Lakers.
