Maurice Bailey will be continuing his career in Spartak Primorie according to russian media who was playing last season for Olimpija. In light of its current roster, Union Olimpija has an overload at the guard positions. Olimpija and guard Maurice Bailey have come to a mutual economic agreement to release Bailey from the second year of his contract so he can pursue other options in Europe.
Last season at Olimpija, Bailey averaged 11.2 ppg, 2.3 assists and shot 50.5% from the field and 36.8% from the three in the Adriatic League, averaged 9.1 ppg and 2.2 assists and shot 48% from the field and 84.8% from the line in Euroleague and averaged 10.7 ppg and 2.1 assists and shot 48.6% from the field and 38.6% from the three in the Slovenian League.
