Red Star announced the first of two smerican players signings by confirming that they signed Andre Owens who comes from the NBA according to the Adriatic League website.
Owens agreed to a one-year contract and is expected to join the team on Sunday while his official presentation is scheduled for the beginning of the next week. Owens comes from the Indiana University and was also playing for Utah Jazz before finishing in Indiana Pacers in the previous season. He averaged 3.6 points 1.3 rebounds and 1 assists in a total of 54 games last season.
