Valencia announced Kosta Perovic for 3 seasons via their official website. The spanish team took the opportunity of signing the serbian center after the Golden State Warriors released him last weekend and this is probably the best way to make up for the Van Der Spiegel debacle who left the spanish team without signing his contract although he had initially agreed.
Perovic passed his medical tests and signed his new 3-year contract. The 23-year old serbian center left Partizan with high hopes and was signed by the Golden State Warriors last season after he was drafted at number 38 in the 2nd round of the 2006 NBA Draft. Perovic only managed to play 7 games last season and averaged 1.4 points and 1.9 rebounds.
