Aris Thessaloniki are trying bulgarian center Krum Doychinov(2.07-C). Doychinov was the starting-five center of CSKA Sofia before it was pulled out of the league. Sterianopoulos and Prelevic, president and GM of the team respectively, declared to the bulgarian federation of basketball that the team will no longer compete in the league. Doychinov recently changed agent and now belongs to Interperformances and is waiting for the transfer market to open in order to find a contract.
Doychinov will be tried by coach Andrea Mazzon of Aris and if he is good enough there is a possibility that Aris will sign him in the next season. Aris can no longer sign any other players since the play-offs of the A1 greek league have already begun. #Doychinov has also played in the junior national teams of Bulgaria. He averaged 14.8 points 8.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 13 games of the bulgarian league for CSKA Sofia.
