Lokomotiv Rostov announced via their official website the renewal of the contract of slovenian head coach Sasho Filipowski for 2 more seasons. The administration of Lokomotiv Rostov were happy with the work that Filipowski did and they decided to rest the fate of the team on his hands for the next 2 seasons.
Filipowski was the head coach of Turow leading his team to the final of the polish league last season and to the quarter finals of the Uleb Cup. He also was assistant and head coach of Olimpija Lubljana for many years before becoming head coach in Turow.
