Olympiakos are said to have made an official offer to former CSKA point guard, J.R. Holden(1.85-PG) according to redplanet.gr. The american point guard with the a russian passport has been one of the many stars of CSKA Moscow for the last 7 seasons and he has certainly been in the spotlight in Russia after helping the National Team win the Eurobasket 2007 competition with his shot at the very end.
Holden also managed to win the Euroleague twice as a player of CSKA and he has also played in the greek league before as a player of AEK Athens before he moved to Russia. In Olympiakos he would find former teammate and good friend, Theo Papaloukas. The offer is for 2 seasons and should he accept it would mean that Milos Teodosic might be going away on-loan after all. First team that was interested was Virtus Roma. Holden averaged this season 7.9 points 2 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 16 games in the Euroleague.
