Khimki to sign Keith Langford


According to solobasket.it, Khimki Moscow are going to sign top scorer Keith Langford(1.93-SG). Langford graduated from Kansas and he even managed to play a couple of games in the NBA with with San Antonio. He started his pro career in Europe playing for Soresina in the LegaA2 and he has also played for Biela, that was last season. This season he played for Virtus Bologna and was one of their best scorers alongside Earl Boykins.

Khimki are going to pay Virtus Bologna the buy-out clause of 400,000 dollars and he will sign a 2 season contract with the russian team for a total of 2.6 million dollars. He averaged this season 13.3 points 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 steals in a total of 33 games in the italian league. Khimki are trying to make a good team in order to compete in the Euroleague of next season.
