Barcelona announced Terrence Morris
Barcelona announced the signing of american power forward Terrence Morris(2.07-PF) via their official website. Morris left CSKA Moscow although he had 2 more seasons in his contract and it was rumored that Efes Pilsen was interested in the player among other teams. The deal between Terrence Morris and Barcelona is for 2 seasons and he will be replacing Ersan Ilyasova who is most likely to try his luck again in the NBA with Minnesotta.
Terrence Morris impressed the crowds as a player of Maccabi Tel Aviv and he managed to play in 2 Euroleague Final Four's in a row with Maccabi and CSKA. The russian team decided to release him as his contract was too costly although he had initially signed a 3-season contract. He averaged 6.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.5 steals, 1.0 blocked shots in 21 Euroleague games with CSKA.
