Khimki BC announced their latest transfer via their official website, that is Carlos Cabezas(1.86-PG/SG), formerly of Malaga. Cabezas is a native of the city of Malaga and has always played for Malaga throughout his pro career in the ACB and the Euroleague. He has won a few titles with Malaga and also a few medals with the National Teams of Spain that he has been playing since he was a teenager.
Cabezas and the administration of Malaga didn't get along very well this last season and his reduced time and role in the team led to the breakup and Cabezas' transfer to Khimki. He brings considerable amounts of experience to the russian team. He averaged 7.7 points 1.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 12 games in the Euroleague, whereas he averaged 8.9 points 1.9 rebounds and 2 assits in 28 games in the ACB with Malaga.
