The team of Kavala are close to signing american/finnish guard/forward Shawn Huff(1.98-SG/SF), who played in the last season for Maroussi. That was his first pro season after graduating from Valparaiso in 2008 but he didn't get much playing time playing only in 24 games throughout the regular season and the playoffs and accumulating 35 points in 8.8 minutes of playing time.
Huff has a finnish passport and is a member of the Finnish National Team. In the last 2 seasons in Valparaiso, he has been playing in the starting five in most of the games and in the last season he averaged 12.6 points 4.5 rebounds shooting at an impressive 47.9%(91/190) behind the arc.
