Andreas Glyniadakis(2.16-C) was finally announced today by the official website of Olympiakos and is the first actual transfer of the greek team after the renewal of Bourousis. The center from Crete will be another addition to the front-line of Olympiakos which seems to be getting crowded with centers. Bourousis, Vujcic, Vouyoukas, Mavrokefalides and now Glyaniadakis. The deal is for 2 seasons.
Glyniadakis who has played briefly for Panathinaikos in the beginning of his career sought the NBA dream but it was short lived and spent most of his time in the States playing in the NBDL. He returned to Greece and has been playing for Maroussi for the last two and a half seasons. He averaged 7.3 points and 3.8 rebounds and he accrued 32 blocks in 36 games in the greek A1 league for Maroussi.
