Caserta announced the signing of lithuanian center Antanas Kavaliauskas(2.09-C) via their official website for one season. Kavaliauskas was coming from a great season in Greece playing for A1 newbies Kavala BC and having a starting-five position. Kavaliauskas graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 and then signed with Panionios BC to play his first pro season in Europe.
This season he played for Kavala averaged 11 points and 5.7 rebounds in 25 games in the A1 greek league. GM of Caserta, Claudio Coldebella said that they see a lot of potential in Kavaliauskas and they are delighted to have him in their team.

Actually Kavaliauskas graduated from Texas A&M University. Not to be mistaken with the University of Texas (biggest rival).
