Should I stay or should I go?

The latest news say that Pekovic doesn't want to leave Panathinaikos..

According to gazzetta.gr, Nikola Pekovic(2.10-C) has changed his mind about making the leap to the NBA and Minnesota. The article says that part of the reason that Kurt Rambis and David Kahn visited Athens was to discuss the contract details between Pekovic and Minnesota.

It seems that the Montenegrin center is asking for more money than the Timberwolves are willing to offer. The initial offer was for 3 seasons and a total of 7 million dollars. If you take out the taxes that leaves Pekovic
with just over a million euros per season. Certainly he can make more money than that as a player of Panathinaikos or pretty much any other wealthy team in Europe. So the article says that Pekovic requested an increase on his proposed salary and that was 4 million dollars per season. That translates roughly to 2 million euros per season after you take out the tax. Pekovic's advantage has to do with being selected in the 2nd round of the Draft so he can negotiate whatever starting price he wants. There is no way of telling if this is over. For one, the Greek league is still not finished and the situation could very easily swing back the other way.
