D'Or Fischer moves to Real Madrid

D’or Fischer Inked by Real Madrid

After two seasons with Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, center D’or Fischer has moved to the Spanish League, where he is expected to sign a two year contract with Real Madrid. The club wishes Fischer the best of luck with his new team.

American center D’or Fischer, who has not been included in Maccabi’s head coach David Blatt’s program for the coming season, will be moving on to play for Real Madrid of Spain, under the guidance of coach Ettore Messina, where it is expected he will earn one million dollars per season. Last season, Fischer posted averages of 8.9 points and 5 rebounds per game in the Euroleague. In his two seasons with Maccabi he won the Israeli Cup and the Israeli championship.

The Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv Basketball Club thanks Fischer for two wonderful seasons, during which he was a key player on the team, and wishes him the best of luck with his new team.
