More candidates for Aris

Sharon Drucker has started the efforts to fill the roster.

There are only a few players with a contract in Aris at the moment and not all of them will stay.  Sharon Drucker has still not met with Nikos Hatzivrettas although they're planning to do this soon. There is a bit of uncertainty about the fate of the contracts of Keydren Clark and Dimos Dikoudis.

On another subject, another candidate for Aris is Stephen Smith(2.03-PF), that played for Nahariya last season. Smith was heading to become the top scorer of the Greek League in season 2008-2009 (as a player of Kolossos Rhodes) but an Achilles tendon rupture injury forced him out of action for quite a few months. Smith was recovering this whole time and in January he signed with Nahariya and averaged 16.9 points 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 11 games. There is another candidate but his name will probably not be known for a whole as there are other teams interested too.

Finally, according to goalday.gr brings up the rumor that has been around for a while. Aris might get Jeff Foote(2.12-C) on a loan agreement from Maccabi Tel Aviv. Foote signed a 3-season contract with Maccabi but David Blatt might want him to play one season in a team where he will get some quality playing time and Aris might just be that.team. He averaged 12.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.9 blocks in 34 games last season for Cornell in the NCAA.
