Avellino's new head coach is Frank Vitucci

Frank Vitucci is the new head coach of Scandone Avellino, replacing Cesare Pancotto.

47 years old, Vitucci began his career with Vicenza, then he won two Legadue leagues with Venezia and Imola (the star of both the team was Steve Burtt, later an idol in Avellino: a sign of destiny?). Vitucci worked 5 years in Imola, then 2 years with Scafati, before moving to Benetton Treviso, where he was assistant coach for 5 seasons. At the beginning of this season, he began head coach of Treviso, but he was fired after 13 games.
