And just when everyone thought that Nikos Zisis(1.95-PG/SG) was heading to Olympiakos it turns out that the greek combo guard has agreed with Siena according to sport24.gr. The news are being verified by other greek media too.
Zisis will be replacing Rimantas Kaukenas(1.94-SG) in Siena and he was convinced when coach Pianingiani called him and expressed his team's interest. Zisis didn't want to accept Olympiakos' offer for a one season contract. He averaged 5.3 points 1.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 21 games in the Euroleague for CSKA. If the deal is finalised Zisis returns to Italy after 2 seasons in Russia.

Many coaches hace talked about Zisis's potential, but year after year I've never felt he could turn into an star caliber player.
