The Lithuanian veteran will be returning to Maccabi Tel Aviv according to his agent Maurizio Balducci, as it was reported by the Lithuanian portal 15min.lt. Balduzzi spoke to an Israeli TV channel saying that his client is very close to completing the deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv. Jasikevicius has been playing for Panathinaikos for the last 3 seasons but his days in the Greek team are numbered. It's very unlikely that Jasikevicius would have extended his contract with Panathinaikos for another season.
The deal will be for 2 seasons and it's possible that Jasikevicius will retire after that. He is currently 34 years old. The decorated veteran has had better seasons than this averaging 8.3 points and 2.5 assists in 22 games in the Greek league.
