Turkish NT made offer to Giannakis

The Turkish Federation are thinking outside the box..?

It might seem very strange but sportnet.gr claim that they have the exclusivity on this rumor. Apparently the Turkish Federation have made an offer to Panayotis Giannakis, who is currently the coach of Olympiakos. It seems that the health problems of Bogdan Tanjevic have led the Turkish Federation to seek an unlikely head coach.

This might seem a move to strengthen the problematic relationship between the 2 countries but it could also mean a less stressful transition for Giannakis who is rumored to leave the coaching staff of Olympiakos this summer, regardless of the play-offs outcome. Then again there probably won't be answer from Giannakis until the end of the play-offs. It wouldn't be politcally correct..

There had always been a thin red line which separated rumours from jokes. Can't see the line on this one...
