Virtus Bologna won Erceg from Zeleznik

Zoran Erceg will not start his holidays yet, the Italian play-offs await.

According to greekbball.blogspot.com, Zoran Erceg(2.11-PF/C) will finally be playing for Virtus Bologna. The player was going to play either for Virtus Bologna or Zeleznik and in the end Bologna won the player. There was a short confusion as to which team would issue the Letter of Clearance for Erceg. The problem there was the he finished the season playing for Panionios, but he actually belongs to Olympiakos who gave him to Panionios on a loan agreement.

Erceg will have some more games to practice this season in Italy and the announcement of the deal is expected soon from the official website of Virtus Bologna. The alternative was Estonian power forward, Kristjan Kangur(2.02-PF) that played for Villeurbanne this season. Erceg averaged 14.7 points 5.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 20 games in the Greek A1 league.
