Aris renew Andrew Betts for one more season

Aris BC announced Andrew Betts(2.16-C), via their official website. The british center gave strength and presence in the low post to the team of Aris when he signed back in January and he did a tremendous job as a starting-five center. Andrew Betts is a seasoned veteran of the Euroleague having played there between 2001 and 2006 with AEK, TAU Ceramica and DKV Joventut. Betts will be staying with Aris for one more season.

This season Aris didn't manage to qualify for the Euroleague of next season but they are regrouping to return even stronger in the next season. This season he averaged 10.9 points and 6.4 rebounds in 20 games of the greek A1 league for Aris. On a sidenote, youngster Kostas Papanikolaou(2.03-SF) who did great with young National Teams wants to play on-loan next season in order to get more playing time. This will be decided once he returns from the Reebok Eurocamp.
