Giessen 46ers and Maras go separate ways

The LTi Giessen 46ers have made their first move in this off-season and cancelled the contract with Robert Maras (216-C-78) by mutual agreement. The former national player Robert Maras rejoined Giessen last season and averaged 6.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game in 32 contests.

Maras already played for Giessen during the 2006/07 campaign and averaged 9.5 points and 6.9 rebounds at his first time with the 46ers. The 30-year old center is mainly known for his time with Skyliners Frankfurt, where he played from 2000 - 2005. After leaving Frankfurt he played in Spain and Greece before rejoining the BBL and signing with Giessen.
