Orleans announced Sean Marshall

The Entente Orleans Loiret is pleased to announce the signing of Sean Marshall (2m01, 96 kg, 25 years, Wing) for the season 2010-2011.

Born in Rialto, California, Sean spent four years at Boston University College, progressing each season. In his rookie season he averaged 8pts, 2.7 rbs and in the senior 14.8 pts, 4.5 rebs. He was co-captain of the team, alongside Jared Dudley, the current player for the Phoenix Suns.

Choosing to go directly to Turkey after university, Sean had a very good season, becoming the fifth top scorer in the league, and taking his team into the Playoffs. The following year he arrived at Aris Salonika and the team will finish the season in 3rd place in the semifinals and Play-offs against Panathinaikos. (editor : actually 4th against Maroussi)

Last season, his arrived to the Pro A and Dijon. In his debut in the French league he excelled immediately with an average of 22 points over the first 5 games and an award of player of the month in October!

Despite the relegation of the club, Sean has managed to shine in Dijon. He had a good field goal percentage(49% to 2 points), he played physical, intense and aggressive on both sides of the court, he can cover both 2 and 3 positions and he  has all the qualities to integrate into the team of Orléans.


2006 - 2007 : Boston College (NCAA) : 14,8 pts/match, 4,5 rebonds, 1,9 passes en 33 matches
2007-2008: Pınar Karşıyaka (Turkey): 19.5 pts / game, 5.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists in 30 games
2008-2009: Aris Thessaloniki (Greece): 13 pts / game, 3 rebounds, 0.8 assists in 16 games
2009-2010: Dijon France (Pro A): 14.7 pts / game, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists in 29 games
