Valencia signed Manolo Hussein

It seems that they're cutting costs in Valencia..

Power Electronics named Manuel Hussein as its new head coach. Hussein, 47, agreed to a two-year deal with the reigning Eurocup champion. He replaced Neven Spahija, who resigned last week. Hussein, who did not coach last season, was last at the helm of CB Murcia for four consecutive seasons from 2005-09. He led Murcia to the Spanish second division cup and promotion to the Spanish elite in 2006.

He managed to keep Murcia in the Spanish League for three straight seasons. Hussein has also coached Alerta Cantabria Lobos, Ciudad Algeciras, Caceres and Gran Canaria. He made his Spanish League debut in February 1990. Power Electronics represents his first chance to coach in the Euroleague, though he did lead Gran Canaria in the 2001 Korac Cup qualifying rounds. Hussein will be officially presented in a press conference Tuesday alongside Valencia president Vicente Sola and general manager Francisco Raga.
